Tascent: M6

Made for the iPhone 6 or 6s, Tascent M6 provides comprehensive multimodal biometric capabilities. It enables advanced iris, face, fingerprint, and voice biometrics, and designed to meet the global demand for establishing and verifying identity in a way that is secure, scalable and accurate. Tascent M6 device was design to suit applications ranging from consumer travel and financial services to public safety and humanitarian aid. The M6 is powered by world-class biometric sensors, which include advanced dual-eye iris capture imaging system and Integrated Biometrics’ Sherlock fingerprint sensor. M6 has received FBI’s rigorous Appendix F FAP45 certification for fingerprint capture, and meets international standards for biometric and product performance.

Tascent/ Aoptics Came to us with an existing prototype that needed a design refresh. The biggest challenge they found them selves was that they were in the whim of Apple’s iPhone revolving door. With their current prototype functioning on an iPhone 4 we knew that by the time development with complete apple would be on iPhone 6. So we design for flexibility and adaption among the mil-spec aesthetic they were pursuing.
